You can remember, as well as I, the teaching of high school and college. To this day I remember the misrepresentations that are proliferated through the "Politically Correct" and history revisionists of textbook publications. How the civil war was fought over "slavery" and how the Southern Generals were often "brutal" and how northern soldiers were "treated" in prison camps.... it is time that the Internet had a place to the display of the truth about the South, it's lifestyle and the reasons for the American Civil War. Well now that the world has access to the Internet, my wife and I have a chance to let the children learn the truth and preserve it, before it is extinguished. There are so many site about the Civil War on the Internet today. Most of them are small and only deal with one specific subject of the war or there are the 100's of sites that link you all over the Internet with other peoples work. Our goal is to provide one location that researchers, historians or any interested party can come to learn about the South and the Civil War. We have
put together thousands of pages of information with many more to
come. If you move through the site you will quickly realize that we
are the largest private nonfunded internet site devoted to this subject.
We are larger than most university funded sites. |
